ABOUT TOWN

Three communities lie along the shore of Geneva Lake: Fontana, Williams Bay, and the city of Lake Geneva. Each has a unique character, but they also share many traits. For example, each has a broad, sandy beach for sunbathers and crisp white piers for boaters. In every case, the beach is backed by a lakefront park enlivened by spring-flowering crab-apple trees, with both casual and upscale watering holes close at hand. And, as you might expect, all three communities are shaped by a lifestyle that centers on the lake.
